Reviewed user's credentials inside the active directory. After confirming that user was indeed using the correct credentials, I examined the users hardware to check for faulty buttons on the keyboard that might provoke such a typing error. None were found. Used the active directory to unlock account and reset users password, confirmed password reset success, ticket closed.
